Our Mission

Our mission is to enrich our students academically while cultivating their talents.

Who We Are

At the heart of our organization, we are in the business of enriching academically talented students. We strive to create a nurturing environment that promotes high academic standards and cultivates strong productive citizens in society. Our educators are inspired & supported to give their best daily. The E.A.T.S. staff operates with high integrity & commits to the principles of service.

Our belief is that learning should be fun, by stimulating both creative and critical thinking of students.

Our Teachers Are Strong

Our teachers in our program are our own. They are dedicated to ensuring our children thrive and are pushed to their optimum level. We have Certified Master Teachers.

Teachers & Staff are CPR/ First Aid & AED Certified.
Our after-school EATS student's state exam scores jumped from 2014 thru 2019, and that could be attributed to the E.A.T.S. program and the Prep 4 Success (ELA & MATH Test Prep).

  • In 2016 30% of our after-school students received Honor Roll or Academic Awards in Literacy, Math, Science, Writing, Technology & Social Studies.
  • In 2017- 2018 52% of our after-school students received Honor Roll or Academic Awards in Literacy, Math, Science, Writing, Technology & Social Studies.
  • In 2019 72% of our 5th and 6th graders scored a level 3 or 4 on their state exams, and 48% of our after-school students received Honor Roll or Academic Awards in Literacy, Math, Science, Writing, Technology & Social Studies.
  • In 2019 our Stem Club participated in the Science Olympiad.
  • In 2020 Our 8th grade interns were WINNERS in the Queensboro MS Hack League and were headed to the Citywide Finals for the 2nd year on April 3rd pre-covid

More of what we do

Academic Enrichment Grades K-8th Academic activities expand on the students learning in ways that differ from the methods used during the school day. They enhance a student's education by bringing new concepts into view or using the old differently.

Tutoring/Homework Help, Counselors and teachers provide direct assistance and help as students complete their homework and prepare for tests. Daily reading is done at home.

Prep 4 Success- ELA & Math Test Prep grades 3rd - 8th grades. Two days a week of strategies and private skill prep for city-wide state exams.

Our 8th-grade students are allowed to work in the program to receive community service credit needed for High School and a stipend at graduation.

Testing dates ELA: 3/29/22-3/31/22 & MATH: 4/26/22-4/28/22.

Enrichment activities, although not academic, allow students to relax and play while still learning social skills, teamwork, leadership, and competition as well as discipline. Enriching Academically Talented Students is a program staffed by licensed and certified teachers offering after-school care for children ages 5 to 13.

Your child will receive homework help, personal enrichment activities, and much more as a part of our standard after-school package, with the option to enjoy everything we offer year-round with our E.A.T.S. summer camp.
